Character Guidelines. Please read these. They will help you in making up a character. USE COMPLETE SENTENCES. When you are finished, send your character to Amanda. ---------------------------------------------------------- NAME. First, try to come up with a name, and use this name in our RP room. If it is taken (either by another member, or someone on Dynastynet already has it), then use a different name. Also please note that names of other members of other packs are theirs. Don't use them, unless you are the player in that pack. Using things like "Raptor", or "Claw" in your name are frowned upon, but we will deal with this on a case-by-case basis. Try to be original. SPECIES. Usually Utahraptor. You may, however, play a hybrid, or another creature, such as a Dactyl, but we are trying to be realistic. Cretaceous only, please. GENDER. Male or female. Not both, not neither. AGE. Chicks are up to 6 months, juveniles are up to a year, and after a year, they are considered adult. Any age from 3 to 6 is encouraged, though. SIZE. Utahraptors rarely reached over 8 feet tall at the shoulder, but it is possible to go a little taller than that. Please try not to exceed 9 feet tall. Also, the height to length ratio for a Utahraptor is Length equals the Height, multiplied by 2 (L=2H). Weight should be somewhere between 600 and 1000 pounds, for a healthy adult, depending on their size. STATUS. Place in the pack, and connections your character has to other characters. (ie: mates, consorts, brothers or sisters, mothers or daughters, etc.) PHYSICALITIES. How is your character built? Is s/he lithe and well-muscled? Sickly and thin? Wiry? Tell us about it here. Please be detailed in your description, so we can get a good idea of what s/he looks like. Include any different points and COLORS or MARKINGS your character has. MENTALITY. What goes on in your character's head? How does s/he think? Any fears? Thoughts of revenge? Loner? Friendly? Nastily mean? Explain your character's feelings to us! HISTORY. Brief or exceedingly detailed. You choose. If you're working on it, simply say so. PICTURE. Not necessary... but we'd like to put your character's pic in the Archive, if you do send it in. ;)
